Audrey had a bit of a set back today after feeding early this morning. Her body temperature dropped as well as her blood sugar and her pulse ox rate dropped to around 89. So the doctor decided to put her under a warmer, give her a little oxygen to help get her pulse ox up to 98-100. This helped and the doctor seems to think that she just has some left over fluid in her lungs and should get absorbed in a day or so. But there is a chance that it is an infection, so they will do more blood cultures in the morning to see if her white blood cell level has gone down. If this is the case then it is most likely the left over fluid that is the problem. So just to watch her a little closer they put her in the NICU, and already she has her pulse ox rate up to 98 on her own. So she is doing better. More info when it comes available.
